Planet X is a small, recent body of work about place. Contemporary architecture often produces structures that are large, powerful, and visually striking – if not at all familiar or inviting. A combination of filters further adds to the abstraction, reducing forms to light, shadow, shapes and lines. The goal was to create high-contrast images of scenes that appear more fitting in science fiction cinema than the everyday world. All photos shot on 35mm black and white film.
